    　　鄰舍小品式劇集《家有嬌妻》以輕松手法描述兩對夫妻的生活及成長過程，并透過他們的遭遇去道出人與人之間的親情、友情及愛情，全劇溫情洋溢。　　劇中的兩對夫妻分別是尤家祺、潘靜文與邵紀君、任文立。家祺與靜文分別是香港大學及理工學院的應屆畢業生，對將來充滿美夢的憧憬；婚后，隨即面對一連串的問題。　　時值香港建筑業與經濟不景，家祺找不著理想的工作而呆在家中，相反地，靜文則得一優職，遂成為男主內、女主外的局面。及后，家祺終尋得一高職，滿以為生活會從此風平浪靜，哪知成熟美艷的Flora差點兒導致這對小夫妻的關系破裂。　　另一對是邵紀君與任文立，二人同是建筑師樓的高級職員，紀君是事業型的女性，自視甚高，最初文立為影響紀君的升職機會，以苦肉計狂追紀君，奸計得逞后，即離開紀君，紀君備受打擊，性情大變。　　另一方面，文立竟對Flora產生愛慕之情，狂追之下，工作亦受情緒波動之影響，錯誤百出，終被公司革職。經重重波折后，文立深感有負紀君，經收拾情懷，與紀君共諧連理。　　婚后，二人皆以事業為重，感情兩次出現裂痕，為了挽救這段婚姻，紀君只有放棄事業，專心相夫教子，照顧家庭。
